Whether you’re updating existing cabinetry or installing new, cabinet hardware is a quick and easy way to make your room unique. With so many options to choose from, the possibilities are endless, but they don’t have to be overwhelming. 

Door and drawer handles come in many shapes, sizes, and configurations. It’s really about personal preference and design style. You want to have a cohesive look, so if you are designing a rustic kitchen your hardware should be rustic or industrial. Kitchen hardware typically falls into these categories:

Knobs

Cabinet knobs come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and materials. Round, oval, square, rectangular, and other geometric shapes.  Colors range from brushed gold, matte black, bronze, stainless/nickel, and everything in between.v

Bin Pulls

Dome-shaped handles are easy to grasp from the bottom. Also known as “cup pull” simply describes its shape, which is enclosed on three of its four sides

Finishes

 After choosing the style and the type of hardware it’s time to consider the finish. Since the kitchen is a moist environment most quality cabinet hardware is made of brass or stainless steel and/or coated with a rust-resistant finish.
